We are starting a new chapter of UWF here in Sanford, and you're invited to the organizing meeting!

Join us Sunday, April 14, 2024, at 2:30pm in the Robertson House.

The Robertson House is located down the stairs at the end of the main parking lot. If you would prefer not to navigate stairs, you can drive past the main Lakeside entrance and you'll come to a driveway that circles around to a small parking area next to the house.

Ever wanted to sit down with someone trained in the Bible and just have a conversation? To talk about Jesus' parables, his teachings, or other Bible passages and dig into what they mean for our lives and our world today? And maybe enjoy a beverage while you're at it?

Then Theology On Tap is for you! Join our Ministry Coordinator Jeremy Green, who has a Masters of Divinity degree and years of experience in various ministry and pastoral roles.

He will be at Citrus City in downtown Lake Mary on Tuesdays at 6:30pm throughout the Easter season - starting April 2!

Welcome to Scuba VBS—the summer event that helps kids dive into friendship with God! At Scuba VBS, kids explore what it means to have a friendship with a real, loving, trustworthy God-a friendship that lasts forever! You can expect a week full of faith discoveries, memorable music, and epic adventures that help kids grow in faith!  Space is limited so sign up today! 

Group Discounts are available to families registering more than one child attendee.

There is also a 50 percent discount for children of adult volunteers. Please e-mail dmorse@lakesideumc.net for the adult volunteer discount code prior to registration.

Holy Thursday Prayer Stations

March 28, 2024
5:30pm - 7:00pm

You are invited to participate in experiential prayer stations that bring the stories to life and powerfully call us to remember the meaning of Christ’s final days before his death and resurrection.

Feel free to come anytime between 5:30-7:00pm. Most folks take about 20-30 minutes to engage the four stations.

Good Friday Worship Service

6:30pm at First UMC Sanford

Head downtown to First UMC Sanford's beautiful sanctuary for a traditional Good Friday "service of darkness." This moving service engages multiple senses, as we hear, sing, and engage with the story of Christ's sacrifice for us.

First UMC Sanford is located at 419 S. Park Ave. in downtown Sanford. Street parking is available around the church.
