Sermon Series: How We Do It.

As the Methodist movement started to grow, it was no longer possible for John Wesley to personally oversee and guide every group that was meeting. He realized that *how* they did things was as important as *what* they did. And so, he gave Methodists three simple rules as a guide.

The final of John Wesley’s Three General Rules for Methodists is the simplest of them all, and yet for some of us, it’s the easiest to neglect. What makes this such a tragedy is that this rule – stay in love with God – is actually the engine that powers everything else.

NICE-Why We Love to Be Liked and How God Calls Us to More Niceness keeps the peace, wins friends, gains influence, and serves our reputations well, but it also takes the teeth out of our witness and the power out of our faith. Pastor Sharon Hodde Miller explores the seemingly innocent idol that has crept into our faith and quietly corrupted it. Outreach-February Collection

• Non perishable food items for Idyllwilde & Bentley Elementary food pantries.  No famly size, please. 
• Socks, blankets, tarps, clothing(especially men’s) and backpacks for Grace & Grits.
