Sleep in heavely peace

All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. In our community and across the US, too many boys and girls go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. This can affect their happiness and health.

That’s where Sleep in Heavenly Peace® comes in. They are a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.

We are excited to partner with them and offer this outreach opportunity for our church family and beds for our community.

How you can help

1. Pillow and Linen Donations

We are collecting donations of new standard pillows and twin sized “bed in a bag” sets.

You can drop them off during the week at the church office or bring them with you on Sunday mornings.

2. Join the Delivery Team

We are also putting together a team of people who would like to help deliver the beds. This includes lifting and carrying the pieces as well as assembling the beds in the homes.

Delivery times are flexible, so no matter when you might be available – evenings, weekends, or other times – we can find a time for you to help!
