Sermon: Simon Peter
Scripture: Matthew 26:31-35, John 21:14-17
Sermon Description: Peter had seen the risen Jesus, and yet here he was: picking back up his old life from before he met Jesus. If the mission wasn’t over, and in fact God was doing something incredible and new, why was the one Jesus hand-selected for leadership acting like he wasn’t a part of it anymore? Because he had failed, his self-image and confidence had been shaken, and now he was stuck. But the power of the resurrection includes the getting unstuck and back on mission.
