Join us on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Throughout this season, we reflect on our humanity and our need for God, which ultimately helps prepare us to fully experience the power and meaning of Easter.

The United Methodist Churches in Sanford are teaming up to offer two options on Wednesday, March 5.

Lakeside UMC will be holding our service at 12:15pm. First UMC Sanford will be holding their service at 6:30pm. We encourage you to attend the service that works best for you and your family.

Food and fellowship are two of the easiest and most fun ways to connect as church family. So, join us for a good ol' fashioned church picnic after the 10:45am service on March 2!

It is a BYOL (bring your own lunch) picnic, so pack something ahead of time or run out to grab something and come back. We will have a few tents, tables, and chairs available, but if you have a blanket or camping chairs, go ahead and bring them!

We will also have a few things out on the front lawn for kids to run around and play with.

Ever wanted to sit down with someone trained in the Bible and just have a conversation? To talk about Jesus, the Bible, faith, and dig into what it all means for our lives and our world today? And maybe enjoy a beverage while you're at it?

Then Theology On Tap is for you! Join our Ministry Coordinator, Rev. Jeremy Green, who has a Masters of Divinity degree and years of experience in various ministry and pastoral roles.

He will be at Celery City in downtown Sanford on Wednesdays at 6:00pm starting February 19!
