Holy Chaos, our Life Group for families with young kids, is hosting an Advent meet up between worship services at 9:45am. It will run for four Sundays from Nov. 26 – December 17. There will be a short lesson as well as snacks, crafts, and games. This is a great way to meet other families and help our children prepare for the Christmas season!
It is time to start transforming our building for the Christmas season!
Sunday, November 12, after the 10:45am service, we will be bringing the decorations over from the Robertson House to the main building. If you have a truck, SUV, or car with space for tubs and boxes, we would appreciate your help.
Sunday, November 19, after the 10:45am service, we will do the actual decorating. People of all ages and skill levels can lend a hand! We have trees to decorate, wreaths to be hung, nativity sets to set up, and a few ladders to be climbed!
Right outside the doors of the Sanctuary we have our Joy Tree that has the gift wishes of children in our community. We invite you to participate by taking a sheet from the wall or tree, writing it down on the registration sheet next to the tree, and bringing the gift UNWRAPPED back to the church. If you selected a yellow sheet from the wall, we need those gifts back by December 1. If you selected a red sheet from the tree, we need those gifts back by December 10.

If so, Next Steps is for you. At this meeting you will learn more about our church, what it means to be United Methodist, and how being involved at Lakeside can help you grow in your faith.
This is also a great meeting to attend if you are interested in next steps like being baptized, joining the church as a member, or volunteering.
