Description: “Mister Rogers Neighborhood” is a show that feels entirely out of place in today’s world. It is quiet and slow. The reality is that it was “out of place” in its own time as well. For Fred Rogers, this was not only intentional, but it was what he called “my gift.”

Description: When Jesus looked around at the world and the people he met, one of his central responses was, “We’re going to need some help!” It is easy to be nervous about sharing our faith or to get pessimistic about the state of the world, but Jesus invites us to just jump in.

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) provides on-the-ground relief when natural disasters strike. Lakeside has set a goal of assembling and storing 20 flood relief buckets for UMCOR disaster response efforts. These buckets contain essential cleaning supplies.
